Zomato Set for Name Change After Board Approval, Brand Stays Intact

Food delivery giant Zomato has got board approval to change its company name, marking a strategic shift while retaining its strong brand identity. The Zomato brand name will remain unchanged on its popular delivery app, which means continued brand recognition and customer loyalty even after the change at the corporate level.

The decision comes in the wake of Zomato’s expansion from food delivery and investment in quick commerce, dining services, and logistics solutions. Analysts believe the new name reflects the company’s broader ambitions within the digital economy, much as Facebook transformed into Meta.

Zomato’s leadership claims that the deal is part of its long-term vision to emerge as a multi-faceted technology powerhouse, but customers do not have any reason to worry at all with the app and services remaining uninterrupted under the good old Zomato name. Official news about this new company name and rebranding timeline may be expected a few weeks ahead.
