Ajman Police have ordered a temporary traffic restriction on the busy Al Ittihad Street beginning June 14. The closure will remain in effect until ongoing maintenance and infrastructure improvement works are completed. Motorists are being advised to plan ahead and use alternative routes to avoid delays.

This vital stretch, which connects key commercial and residential zones, will undergo necessary upgrades aimed at improving traffic flow and road safety. Authorities have not specified an exact reopening date, citing the need for “comprehensive and uninterrupted repair work” to ensure quality and durability.

Traffic diversion signs and people will be used to alleviate congestion and direct traffic to alternate routes. Public transportation operators in the vicinity are also anticipated to change their schedules and routes accordingly. Local businesses and schools have been notified in advance to minimize disruption.

Ajman Police urge all commuters to stay updated via official channels and exercise caution near the work zone. Real-time updates will be shared through the Ajman Police social media pages and traffic apps.
