The crash, which involved multiple vehicles, happened in the morning on the road connecting Ibra and Al Mudhaibi.

Seven vehicles were part of the collision, and 22 people sustained injuries ranging from mild to moderate. They were initially taken to Ibra Hospital for treatment.

The Emergency Case Management Centre at the Ministry of Health announced that critical cases would be transferred to nearby hospitals, including Nizwa, Sur, Khawla, and University Medical City.

Authorities have urged drivers in Oman to stay cautious on the roads, especially when traveling long distances, and to strictly follow the traffic guidelines issued by the concerned authorities.
