Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that some public bus services will be temporarily suspended on December 31, 2024. This decision was made to accommodate the New Year’s Eve 2025 celebrations in key areas of the city.

According to a post shared by the RTA on X (formerly Twitter), bus routes from Al Quoz Industrial Area, Oud Al Muteena, and Jebel Ali Industrial Area heading towards the Burj Khalifa Area will not be operational on this date.

The RTA has advised residents and visitors to consider alternative public transport options, such as the Dubai Metro, to travel conveniently during this period.

In a separate update, the authority also announced the suspension of some intercity bus routes. The affected services include the E100 line, which operates from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and the E102 line, which runs from Al Jafiliya Bus Station.

For those planning to celebrate the New Year, staying informed about these changes will help ensure smoother travel. Consider alternative transportation options to avoid disruptions.
