Eid Relief: Free Parking and No Darb Toll in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi residents and visitors will benefit from free public parking and a temporary suspension of Darb toll costs during Eid Al Adha festivities. The project is part of attempts to make travel easier and less expensive during the holiday season.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has verified that all surface parking bays and the Darb toll system will be dormant until the end of the Eid holiday, allowing for smoother mobility around the capital. Commuters and vacationers can tour the emirate or attend family gatherings without fear of parking tickets or toll payments.

However, normal services will resume on Monday, June 9, 2025, with both Darb toll charges and paid parking reinstated from that day. Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and ensure compliance once the holiday grace period ends.

The move reflects Abu Dhabi’s ongoing commitment to enhancing public convenience and safety during national holidays, ensuring residents can celebrate Eid with fewer logistical concerns and more time to focus on what matters most—family, faith, and festivity.
