In a spectacular celebration of humanitarian work, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will award the winners of the Arab Hope Makers initiative on February 23. The much-anticipated recognition event for people and organizations who are making a difference in their communities has already received over 26,000 inspiring stories from all over the Arab world.

The Arab Hope Makers initiative is an initiative under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), launched in 2017. It celebrates the time and resources of those who dedicate themselves to helping others, from education and healthcare to environmental sustainability and humanitarian aid. Participants will be judged on their impact, sustainability, and dedication to their cause.

The annual event has become one of the biggest platforms for humanitarian recognition in the Arab world, inspiring thousands of the public to take action in their communities. It not only highlights individual achievements but also fosters a spirit of collective responsibility and social impact. Winners receive financial and logistical support to expand their project and reach a wider audience.

With thousands of entries pouring in, this year’s edition is set to be one of the most competitive yet. The ceremony scheduled on February 23 will do more than honour outstanding individuals. It will consolidate the UAE’s position in terms of sharing hope, goodness, and strength across the region.
